Edge is probably the world’s best videogames magazine. Their review of LittleBigPlanet is now online.
It’s a multiplayer riot, a visual landmark, a feat of engineering, and one of the most charming games ever made. But even those accolades are dwarfed by its scope, its potential, and the apparent endlessness of them both. What’s more, it sees the pariah of this generation, Sony, publishing at the height of its powers. Not since the early days of PlayStation has that troubled brand stood for – and fostered – such a daring, transcendent, magnificent piece of work.
The score? Another perfect 10/10 !

Another big review and another big score. IGN gives 9.5/10 to LittleBigPlanet!
“If you own a PlayStation 3, you cannot miss this. If you don’t have a PS3 yet, this is the reason to get one.”

The first online review of LittleBigPlanet is here. The final score is 9/10.
“LittleBigPlanet sets out to resurrect the simple fun of a game you control with left, right and jump. It sets out to make the side-scrolling platform game relevant and exciting again. And it succeeds.”

I don’t understand one word in this review, but I know what 10/10 means. Another perfect score for LittleBigPlanet!

LittleBigPlanet is a new concept in videogames, by Media Molecule. “Play - Create - Share“, they tell us. And that’s exactly what I’m doing right now with the public Beta of LittleBigPlanet.

When the game loads we get an intro level with the credits and some tips to start controlling our little SackBoy. Everything is presented like a real game level, because it’s really easy to create stuff this way. We can control the SackBoy’s legs, arms, head and even his emotions. We can make him laugh, cry, shake, jump, dance, slap and everything else you can think of. All this is controlled by combinations of buttons and the motion sensor.
